The Importance of Omega 3

One of the most popular supplements is Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Not only popular with people in the original natural health field but also within the “modern medicine”. As a child we had to take cod liver oil but there are many other sources of omega 3 – small fish oil, salmon oil, krill oil and also plant based sources such as algae, echium plantagineum, and sacha incha seeds.

We should have an even ratio of omega 3, omega 6 and omega 9, but because of our “modern diet” we are low in omega 3’s in comparison.

Omega 3 is good for:
•Almost every brain function
•Depression
•ADHD, ADD
•Improving learning, focusing in children
•Skin disorders and healthy skin
•Inflammation and inflammatory conditions
•Cardiovascular health
•Proper blood consistency
•Cholesterol imbalance
•Constipation
•Preserving vitamin d

Essential Fatty Acids are just that, they are essential for our body and for a healthy life. Thank you again, mother nature
