Seaweed and Algae – Medicine from the Sea

Medicinal plants come from the earth but many great beneficial plants come from the sea.

Kelp, spirulina and chlorella are water plants that provide unique health and nutritional benefits including:
•Radiation protection
•Immune support
•Thyroid regulation
•Weight management.

The brown sea vegetable is rich in b vitamins and trace minerals. It is beneficial for the brain, central nervous system, protects from harmful effects of radiation, detoxifies the body of heavy metals and regulates the thyroid. Some symptoms of low thyroid are tiredness, cold body, depression and obesity.

Spirulina, blue-green algae, is full of vitamins and minerals including beta carotene, vitamin B1, B2, E, calcium, iron, potassium and zinc. Gram per gram spirulina is one of the best sources of protein available, excellent for vegetarians and vegans. Spirulina is also excellent for the immune system.

Chlorella is a single celled algae that provides amino acids (58% protein), chlorophyll, b vitamins, c and e vitamins. There is more B12 in chlorella than in liver or any animal product. It also helps detox and protect the body against radiation.

These medicinal, nutrient-rich water plants can be taken alone or together – these are the super foods of the sea!!! Thank you again, Mother Nature.
