Go Green for Health

Everyone is becoming conscious of “going green” with the environment. What about going green for your health? Greens in our diet are the dark leafy vegetables. They are full of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and antioxidants. They help are health to prevent cancers, heart diseases, diabetes and other disease.

The main source of the health power in the foods is a phytonutrient called Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the dark green pigment found in plants. It is a complex process in which chlorophyll converts energy from the sun into chemical energy while releasing oxygen into the atmosphere. This same energy is then eaten by humans and animals which is how energy enters the food chain.

In the past chlorophyll was used as a colouring agent from soap to candy, also as an internal deodorant and mouthwash. After extensive research it has been proven to be an excellent source of antioxidants and phytonutrients. It is genetically similar to human blood and is very high in oxygen.

Chlorophyll helps the body fight bacterial infections, strengthens tissue, increases disease resistance, gentle cleanses the body, can combat deep infections, cleanses open wounds, bioavailable source of vitamin k, increases energy, and helps with chronic sinus infections. Therapeutically, foods and green supplements do not have the strong doses that a liquid chlorophyll concentrate possesses.
