There's a new health shop in town.
Located in the Crossroads Plaza in Alcona, Alcona Beach Health Shoppe officially opened May 18. The store offers fine quality supplements and whole foods, sold by professional and knowledgeable staff, said owner Kimberly Hunter- Gafur.
"We are empowering our customers to make informed and health choices," she said. "When customers come in, I will consult with them to find the root cause of their ailment and work to find the best possible solution, to help achieve optimal health."
Hunter-Gafur is a registered nutritional consultant, a holistic nutritionist, and registered orthomolecular practitioner with over 20 years of experience.
The store will also offer free monthly seminars on a variety of topics, as well as discounts and incentives through Preferred Loyalty Rewards and Seniors Silver programs.
Seminars will take place on the first Tuesday of each month.
"This is what customers should receive and expect when they are in a health shop," said Hunter-Gafur. "Customers are relying on us to be knowledgeable on products (being sold), to help them make the right decision that will work and ultimately empower them to self-manage their health."
The shop will also offer free delivery to Sandy Cove Acres. For more information, visit www.alconabeachhealthshoppe.com or call 431-5483.
